Congrats to Our Snow Dog Photo Contest Winners!

Congrats to Wellfleet and Wilbur, our snow dog photo contest winners! We want to thank all the contestants for taking part in our snow dog photo contest on Facebook. It was a close contest and we ended up having a tie between Wellfleet and Wilbur.

Gracie had a busy night on Friday packaging her gifts for Wellfleet and Wilbur. We went by the post office this morning and dropped them off. We really hope Wellfleet and Wilbur like their prizes. Don't forget to check out our snow dog video below too. All our contestants are featured in the video.

Meet Sadie & Lucy Our Spotlight Dogs for February 2012

Cristina contacted Gracie's Bark to spotlight her two adorable Bouvier des Flandres dogs named Sadie and Lucy.

"Sadie's our youngest and turned 2 in November. We started professional training again recently to work on some problem behavior as she is quite a handful; true to the Bouvier des Flandres breed. She is a sweetheart too and loves to snuggle. She weighs about 76 pounds and thinks she's a lap dog. Her favorite crazy behavior is jumping up and barking at the bird feeder. We even have a YouTube video of it, see below."

 

"Lucy is 10 years old. She is a saint for putting up with her crazy sister Sadie. She is so different from Sadie in every respect. Quiet, mellow and submissive (most of time), except for when we're out on our off-leash walks. She gives Sadie a run for her money then!"

Sadie and Lucy are two very pretty dogs and we want to thank them for becoming part of Gracie's Bark Blog Family. Each month Gracie spotlights a dog from around the world.

Share Your Dog's Photo in the Snow

Since we live in New England and we just had our first major snow storm, we are asking all of you to share photos of your dog(s) having fun in the snow. We are going to let our fans vote for their favorite photo on our Facebook Page. The dog with the most votes will win a special gift from Gracie's Bark!

So please take some photos of your dog enjoying the snow and share them with us! We will extend the photo submission deadline to Monday, January 23, 2012 at midnight. Once we have all the submissions in order we will open the photos up to voting on our Facebook Page. Stay tuned-in. The photo with the most "Likes" will win!
